PLANT COMMUNICATION; Reclaiming Our Birth-Rite

May 1-3, 2015 Hiram Ohio

Plant Communication

"Plants are the most successful organisms on the planet and unlike animals, including humans, have the unique ability to create food, oxygen and tissue from sunlight. The latest scientific research shows that they are intelligent beings who have the capacity to store enormous amounts of information while being highly efficient in communicating and making decisions. Indigenous healers have known this about plants for centuries and have recognized that it is actually the sentient spirit of the plants that does the communicating and healing.

During this weekend we will explore both science and traditional knowledge to learn how to communicate with plants and translate their message. Through entering the daydream we will encounter the bio-resonance of the plant where cellular re-patterning toward health can take place. Through traditional dream journeying we will come to understand the spirit of the plant and how it can serve as a guide, ally and friend helping us in our lives and other’s with everything from serious physical illness to making decisions in our lives to bringing a greater sense of well being. Join us as we learn how to align with the plants, listen deeply and take up our rightful place as a part of nature."

Shamanic Tools

A Journey into Building & Using

June 5-7, 2015

Shamanic Tools

For a number of years, people have requested a workshop on building and using shamanic tools. In both a serendipitous and synchronistic way it has arrived. The workshop will teach how to make a talking stick, prayer horn, and or to use wire to make jewelry. We will then use our creations in a variety of shamanic ways including journey work.

Sacred Space

The sacred space will be anchored by an altar of 800-1000 pounds of rocks and crystals. In addition, each person is asked to bring eight (8) pieces of granite that will be used to create individual and intertwining sacred circles. The combination will be to create a massive healing energy to anchor the weekend.

Included in the Workshop

Each person will select one crystal or stone to make a piece of jewelry. Also, you will have the choice of making a prayer horn or a talking stick. Materials will be provided. You may bring additional materials of your own that can be used to further adorn your tools.

Who Should Come

The workshop is designed for people from all walks of life. It is focused toward expanding the skills for spiritual explorers, practicing healers, and curious people. Raven Medicine

September 11-13, 2014
Camp Asbury
Hiram, OH

Raven MedicineMagic, shape shifting, and creation are its keynotes. Its cycle of power is Winter solstice. It is the bird of birth and death, and it is a bird of mysticism and magic.

The raven represents a duality as folklore around the world depicts in terms of both light and darkness. It was considered by some to be "unclean" due to its being a scavenger. Odin, the Norse god, used them as spiritual messengers. In some areas, it was believed that the Raven foretold death, and others believed that wicked priests became Ravens.

The Raven is a member of the corvids family, crows and magpies. The only difference between a raven and a crow is size. The raven is much larger. Thus, much of what applies to the crow applies to the raven.

Separate from the crow, the raven is believed to bring forth life and order. Nothing could exist without the raven. It stole the sunlight from the one who would keep the world in darkness. It is honored in art and on totem poles, reflecting the tales and mysticism that have developed around it.

Creating the Conscious Nest

October 30-November 1, 2015
Bethel Horizons, Dodgeville, Wisconsin

Creating the Conscious NestWe will use the powerful energies of the Halloween weekend to use humor and fun to create our conscious nest. As a symbol of whom we are in body and soul, the conscious nest is the safe place we can rest our soul and give our spirit relief from day to day life.

Each of us will create a conscious nest. Using whatever materials that call to you (twigs, leaves, pipe cleaners, craft and art supplies, wooden boxes, pictures, photos, crystals, stones, soul collages, etc.) we will craft our conscious nest.

The conscious nest will be your safe haven, your safe deposit box, for memories and courage, and strength for fully being the person that you are, here, now, and every day. It will be the warm and secure place that is uniquely your personal sacred space.

Dragon Medicine Workshop

A Initiation Into a Fuller Self

Dragon Medicine is the essence
of self-transformation

December 4-6, 2015
Camp Asbury, Hiram, Ohio

Dragon Medicine

The workshop is a shamanic intensive retreat; held in a circle of sacred space where all participants share the experience of their healing journey. The class is structured around using sacred space and various exercises, prayers and journeys to explore your relationship to dragon medicine. As you connect your internal dragons will transform. They might be dragons who already assist and teach you and in that case you will deepen your relationship with them. Or they might be dragons who protect you from your inner traumas at the expense of holding parts of you hostage. Either way the dragons can reveal a path to deeper levels of your heart.
