One White Horse Standing
Herb Stevenson bridges the worlds of business and spiritual healing.
Until recently, he was Executive Vice President of Young & Associates,
Inc. in Kent, Ohio. He is a nationally recognized author, trainer, and
management consultant. He has published 26 books on various aspects of
banking and business. He is listed in seven Who’s Who, including Who's
Who in Finance and Industry and Who's Who
in American Law.
As part of his efforts to reclaim his Native American Indian heritage
(Shawnee and Cherokee), he has been exploring
indigenous healing practices, such as the shamanic use of rocks and crystals
in the healing process. He has established a private practice in crystal
energy healing, specializing in trauma-related work. He provides workshops
around the country upon request.
Herb developed Medicine of Men,
a one-year, male initiation program designed to assist men through the
process of maturity. He facilitates Men’s Circles in Cleveland,
Ohio. Herb is member of the faculty of the Hero’s
Journey, a men’s program in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Herb develops ceremonial and healing wands, scepters, and staffs as part
of his spiritual practice. Each piece is custom made according to the
needs of the person commissioning the healing tool.
Herb has been studying cross-cultural healing practices for nearly ten
years. He completed Angeles Arrien's Four-Fold
Way program. He has studied with Brooke Medicine Eagle, and Felicitas
Goodman. He has worked and studied extensively with Myron Eshowsky, a
certified shamanic counselor via the Foundation
of Shamanic Studies. He has studied Celtic Shamanism with Tom
Cowan and Siberian Shamanism with Olga Kharitidi.
Herb
received a BA in Economics and Communication at Wright
State University in Dayton, Ohio, and an MA is Psychology with
a diversity specialization from Cleveland State
University.
Herb is on the faculty of the Gestalt Institute
of Cleveland, where he teaches in both the clinical and the organizational
centers.
